MISS TOURISM-ETHIOPIA 2005 TRIUMPHS IN MALAYSIA

Miss Tourism- Ethiopia 2005 Dina Fekadu has triumphed over adversity by being crowned Miss Goodwill 2005 at the Miss Tourism Intercontinental contest held in Malaysia last Saturday, with the other 30 contestants for the ultimate title of Miss Tourism Intercontinental 2005
Dina Fekadu, who was the 2nd runner up and crowned "Miss Tourism-Ethiopia 2005" at the 2005 Miss Universe-Ethiopia pageant in March this year, was attending her first international pageant and proudly represented her country to the best of her ability and is a testament to her positive attitude and dogged determination that despite the setbacks she faced she was still able to win a title, Dina Fekadu fly’s back to Addis Ababa and can proudly hold her head high in the knowledge that she did a great job for Ethiopia, Dina now gets a few weeks rest and immediately stars her preparations for her debut at Miss International 2005 being held in Tokyo Japan at the 2005 World EXPO in September,

Dina has shown that a positive mental attitude is also required to win international contests, not just good looks alone, and she is an example to all young Ethiopians the world over who dream of representing Ethiopia in any international event, she never forgot her duty, and that she was representing her country, and represented Ethiopia very well.

Keabnensh Girms is currently MISS TOURISM AFRICA 2005 winning in Greece at the 2005 Miss Tourism Planet contest last month. Fethiya Mohammed { crowned “Miss Nations 2005” at the 2005 Miss Universe-Ethiopia pageant} is currently BEST AFRICAN QUEEN from the Miss Tourism Queen International held in China also last month, And Dina Fekadu, is now MISS GOODWILL 2005
This the above results: Winning 3 titles at 3 International Tourism events in 2 months for Ethiopia is proof positive that one person can make a difference to Ethiopia’s international image and this can only be positive for Ethiopia’s International image and highlights the serious need for joint cooperation and support from the various bodies tasked with promoting Tourism in Ethiopia
